Zopo is a Chinese smartphone OEM which has introduced two compelling smartphones earlier this year. The company has announced their Speed 7 and Speed 7 Plus handsets a couple of months ago, and the devices have been available for purchase through various Chinese resellers for quite some time now. Well, the company has released the Speed 7 phone in India last month in order to expand its availability, and its bigger brother wasn’t that far behind, the company has just unveiled the second device as well, read on.

The Zopo Speed 7 Plus is now official in India as well. This smartphone sports a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) display along with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 64GB via microSD card). This smartphone is fueled by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core SoC along with a Mali-T720 GPU for graphics. The 13.2-megapixel shooter is available on the back of this phone, and a 5-megapixel snapper can be found up front. The 3,000mAh battery is also a part of this package, and same can be said about two SIM card slots which are included here as well. This smartphone does offer 4G LTE connectivity, and Bluetooth 4.0 is also a part of the whole package. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed here with Zopo’s custom UI installed on top of it. The device measures 153.6 x 76.5 x 8.8mm, while it weighs 149 grams.

The Zopo Speed 7 Plus comes in Black and White color options, and is priced at Rs. 14,999 ($231) in the country. The device will be available exclusively from Amazon India and offline retail stores starting October 22nd. Those of you who opt to purchase this device will be able to repair it all over the country considering Zopo has partnered up with ADCOM. The Zopo Speed 7 Plus, much like the Speed 7, is a sleek looking device. The phone’s rear-facing shooter protrudes on the back a little, and both its power / lock and volume rocker physical buttons are available on the right-hand side of the device. There are no other physical buttons on this smartphone, and if you take a look below the phone’s display you’ll notice Zopo’s logo is located there.
