The Zopo Speed 8, launching at MWC next month, could be the first phone to run a Mediatek Helio X20, and Zopo have released this partial image of the phone to get your juices flowing.

We have heard from a lot of Chinese phone makers who will be at MWC this year (so will we) and of them it is Zopo (and Doogee) that we are most interested to see so far. You see both of these phone companies are in the race to launch the world’s first Helio X20 powered phone at the expo and we can’t wait to see who will come first.
Zopo have been teasing details of their Helio X20 powered Speed 8 for a few months now and today continue that with a partial image of the Speed 8 plus more specification details.

We already know the Speed 8 will run a fingerprint scanner and 4GB RAM, and today it has been revealed to have a 3600mAh battery. This isn’t as large as some other phones we have seen recently, but will hopefully offer enough run time to that powerful 10-core chipset.

As for the design, well we can make out a metal chassis and even a front facing speaker on the chin of the phone. Are dual facing front speakers another major feature of the Zopo Speed 8?
